Burgos CF will have a new coach next season after Luis Miguel Ramis announced he will not continue. The Catalan coach arrived at Burgos last season to replace Jon Pérez Bolo and maintained the team comfortably. This season, the team finished seventh in Segunda División, just one point behind sixth-placed Castellón. Ramis appeared before local media to announce his decision, surrounded by key players and club officials. "The cycles begin and end, and it's time to put an end to this one now", he said. "What happened on Sunday was the most beautiful thing that has happened in my entire professional life. I want to thank all the club's stakeholders, players, fans, and the city. It hasn't been a long time, but it's been enough to get excited and take all of you with me in my heart. It's been a difficult, slow, but growth process. It's the moment after a very intense season to take this decision. The club will continue to grow, Marcelo always said, and I wish you all the best for the future, for next year. It's not a big club, but we have the hope that it will be. It's a big club in terms of love and treatment". Figoli thanked Ramis for his work: "We've had many satisfactions since he arrived. We've made a great season. We've made a last attempt to convince him, and it wasn't possible. He told us he has the illusion in future projects, and now it's Michu's turn to find a replacement". Michu bid farewell to Ramis: "Thank him for his work, for everything he's done. It's been a very hard stick after a great season. There have been six better teams, despite the improvement we've shown. Both Ramis and his coaching staff have been emptied. Now it's time to prepare for next season with all the enthusiasm"
